Overview:
The Google Stadia Controller was originally designed for Google's cloud gaming service, Stadia, which was discontinued on January 18, 2023. Following the shutdown, Google released a tool to convert the Stadia Controller into a Bluetooth-enabled device, allowing it to be used with other platforms and services. Permanent Switch: Once converted, the controller cannot revert to its original Stadia Wi-Fi mode but can still be used in wired mode. stadia.google.com
